Ensuring that Care becomes Accessible
At Zimbabwe, around Victoria Falls, medical care is officially available.
In practice, for many people, that concern is inaccessible.
In rural areas, people sometimes run ten to thirty kilometers to a clinic. There, there is often no doctor present and medicines are limited. At the state hospital, treatment is possible, but patients usually need medications, surgery or transportation pay for it yourself. For many families, this is impossible.

Moyo Care Foundation was founded on the belief that everyone has the right to medical care, even when resources are lacking. The Shona Word Moyo means ‘heart’ - and that is exactly where our commitment comes from: from the heart.
How we work
At Moyo Care Foundation, we believe in help that really arrives. That is why we work closely with local health professionals who know the situation inside out. Our local contact in Zimbabwe is Dr. H. Ranganai, affiliated with the Chinotimba Medical Center (CMC) in Victoria Falls.
